Demóstenes holded a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Peru (2000) - revalidated by the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2013), a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (2009) and a PhD in Electrical Engineering (2013) by the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. Professional experience as an engineer and researcher in the areas of telecommunications (companies: Nokia, Telefônica and INICTEL), computer science (companies: Celltick Technology and Microsoft). Experience in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on Signal Processing, Computer Architecture, Telecommunications, Quality of Service and Quality of Experience in Multimedia Services, GPU,Cloud Computing and Social Networks.
